Job Description
Site Supervision of erection activities & Commissioning of Transmission Lines ( OHL / Cable) in time by supervising the completion of site installation & tests related to the scope of transmission commissioning dept in coordination with the contractor and other related departments within DEWA. Conduct HV test & PD Test for cables by Providing DEWA Test Kits as per approval. Site Supervision for Installation - OHL / Cable installations. Follow Installation checklists and the contrcators schedule to supervise erection activities. Site Supervision for Testing and Commissioning - OHL & Cable installations . Continuously innovate and fulfill the requirements of driving the Corporate Excellence . Facilitate, transfer and share knowledge with colleagues and subordinates. Improve the Staffs productivity by becoming multi skilled and minimize the testing time required to commission the Lines. Support the Issuance of clearance for energization and Handing over of Lines after energization to end user depts. Conduct HV & PD test by using DEWA Test Kit as applicable. Give suggestion for improvement in any area within the authority¿s scope. Follow IMS, Quality and Safety procedures and Standards.
