Emaar Hospitality Group is looking for Staff Nurse who will be assigned at Emaar Hospitality ACCOMMODATION. Candidate must have a valid nursing license in the country of practice and DHA license. Previous 5 star hotel is an advantage.
Personal Profile
  1. Knowledge of current and established professional nursing concepts, principles and practices
  2. Customer Service Skills required to provide nursing care in the hospitality setting
  3. Leadership and management skills in handling medical emergencies
  4. Well versed with the medical documentation and process on Visa Medicals, Occupational Health Cards and Hepatitis B vaccination as mandated by the government.
  5. Understanding the diverse cultural customs and religious beliefs among the associates
  6. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Task and Competencies
  1. Practice comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional values and moral principles.
  2. Maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
  3. Performs nursing practice in line with the company and the local government policies, procedures and standards.
  4. Prioritizes patient needs and delegate aspects of nursing care to other members of the team.
  5. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of each patient in accordance with the patient needs.
  6. Assesses the quality and appropriateness of patient care and initiates possible referral to specialist, based on identified medical conditions.
  7. Performs nursing care in response to patient needs supported by nursing knowledge, and reflective practice.
  8. Keeps required documentation and follow-up for each patient admitted in the hospital until discharge in accordance to the general principles and legal requirements for documentation.
  9. Assists patients and family members in achieving satisfying and productive patterns of living through health education.
  10. Promotes an environment which maximizes patient safety by utilizing infection control practices and implementing the patient bill of rights, the scope of nursing and the company code of conduct.
  11. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team in the network clinics and hospitals.
  12. Take the role as a patient ADVOCATE to encourage openness and trust.
  13. Takes ownership in teaching or educating   patients on their disease process.
  14. Utilize and ensure maintenance of equipment and instruments in the clinic ASSIGNED as appropriate
  15. Adheres to  medical   safety practices and fire safety measures as necessary
  16. Maintains appropriate nursing competencies in line with the guidelines and continues personal and professional DEVELOPMENT
